The 2025 Workshop on Standardization of Microfluidic Devices was successfully held at University College Dublin (UCD) in the historic Mason Hayes Curran Lecture Theatre, UCD Sutherland School of Law. The event brought together leading researchers, industry experts, and innovators to discuss key advancements in microfluidic device standardization and emerging trends in the field.


This workshop aimed to facilitate collaboration between academia and industry, promoting the establishment of unified standards that will enhance the reproducibility, scalability, and commercialization of microfluidic technologies. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions, exchange ideas with prominent speakers, and explore the latest innovations driving the future of microfluidics.


A highlight of the event was the keynote speeches delivered by esteemed experts, addressing critical aspects of microfluidic device fabrication, integration, and application in biomedical and industrial settings. Additionally, panel discussions and networking sessions allowed participants to establish new collaborations and reinforce existing partnerships.
